Radiology is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging to aide in diagnosis of disease visualized within the human body. Radiologists use an array of imaging technologies, such as, X-ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to diagnose diseases.
Interventional radiology is the performance of (usually minimally invasive) medical procedures with the guidance of imaging technologies. The acquisition of medical imaging is carried out by the technologist.
Monday - Friday 7:30A - 3:30P open for all radiologic services; general x-ray remains open until 10:00P. Saturday and Sunday hours are for general x-ray only.
