Long Term Care
Inpatient Services
Long term care provides skilled rehabilitation and medical care to eligible veterans.
Each veteran receives care according to a "Plan of Care". This individualized plan is developed by the veteran along with a team of professionals. Team members include physicians, nurses, dieticians, social workers, physical therapists, speech therapists, and pharmacists.
Residents have input into decisions that impact their living environment through a Resident Council. Daily, they can participate in a number of recreational and leisure activities under the direction of a Recreational Therapist.
Visitors are welcome and encouraged. The best time is from noon until 8pm. Residents may have visitors as long as the privacy and rights of other residents are not affected.
